Mass timber projects continue to grow in popularity with architecture firms strengthening the application of the sustainable building material in residential and commercial sectors. 

As the technical know-how within the industry steadily proliferates, we're highlighting four architecture firms with project specialties in mass timber design and construction currently hiring on Archinect Jobs. From junior to senior-level positions, the following selection of firms is looking for the right candidates to join their teams.

LEVER Architecture seeks a Technical Architect Location: Los Angeles, CA

Jones Architecture seeks a Project Architect Location: Portland, OR

Details: "Jones Architecture is a design-oriented firm based in Portland, OR. We specialize in mixed-use urban infill, residential, historic rehabilitation, mass timber, office buildings, and hospitality projects." Responsibilities include: leading the project team, including regular communication and coordination with consultants and collaborators, coordinating and conducting regular document reviews, and understanding, promoting and upholding office standards, systems, and QA/QC procedures. Qualifications include a professional degree in Architecture from an accredited program, fluency in Revit, and advanced familiarity with SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite, and Bluebeam. Read more here.

Rome Office seeks an Architectural Designer Level I/Architect Level I Location: New Orleans, LA

The Office creates award-winning projects throughout the southeastern United States that re-envision multi-family housing, hospitality, leisure, institutional, commercial, and retail programs.
